Confidence Booster

Confidencebooster.ca is a small project for a local business person who specializes in self-esteem consulting.

The site is a WordPress blog used as a simple CMS, giving the client the ability to manage their content on their own.

My role included setting up hosting, email, and a domain. I also designed the site look in Photoshop, sourced stock photography, and converted comps into a WordPress PHP/CSS Theme.

This project is ongoing as the client learns to use the web to communicate their value offer.

Domestic Renovations is a high-end renovation contractor in London England. They needed a site to present the quality of their work, and solicit contact to provide quotes to potential customers.

The site is HTML/CSS/Javascript and is running several open source scripts such as lightbox. I designed the site in Photoshop and then built the HTML/CSS structure from this comp. It’s been tested in IE 6, IE 7, Firefox 2, Safari, and Mac Firefox.

I also set up Google Apps for Domains for them and provided some training.

A globaly renowned artist asked me to help her with her web site. After talking with her about here needs and means, I decided to propose a WordPress driven non-blog site with tight Flickr integration.

The result is a wordpress installation, a client driven template, and a Flickr account that makes it easy for the client to upload and manage her images herself. Plus there’s the added benefit of the Flickr community exposure and any images that are hotlinked go back to the clients account.
